Deadboy Records proudly welcomes Perditionist

We are proud to announce the addition of Perditionist to the Deadboy Records roster.
Taking influence from many elements of the extreme metal genre, Perditionist create a truly unique and relentless mixture of heavy and punishing music.
Since their inception the band has played alongside US metal legends such as Nile and Hate Eternal as well as the cream of the crop of kiwi metal such as Dawn of Azazel, Subtract, Just one Fix and In Dread Response to name a few.
Perditionist’s first single ‘Existence Devoured’ enjoyed heavy airplay across New Zealand radio and helped to spread word of the band and their sound to a wider national audience.
Having signed with Deadboy Records, the band’s debut ‘Forever in Darkness’ recorded by Johnny Keirle (Molest The Episcopate, In Dread Response) will be available in stores and online on Friday June 29th.
The band will be celebrating with a CD release show at Auckland’s Kings Arms on the release day so be sure to head along to check that out and keep your eyes peeled on more news from the band in the weeks to come.

We are excited to announce about working with our newest and heaviest signing yet, Palmerston North’s up and coming brutal metal juggernaut Depths.
Depths are a super hard working, great bunch of guys who have proven themselves well over the last year with relentless touring in support of their self-released EP Resurgence which has won over an impressive amount of fans.
After seeing the band’s relentless live show at the end of 2011 we knew that it was right to begin a relationship with these guys and help them take their music and career to the next level.
DEPTHS play a ball-crushingly brutal blend of modern Deathcore and traditional Death Metal for fans of Oceano, Whitechapel and Impending Doom.
DEPTHS are set to continue touring heavily across New Zealand throughout the year and will be releasing a brand new full length studio album through Deadboy Records / Universal Music in the coming months.

Saving Grace have released the first single from their new album ‘The King is Coming’.
The music video for ‘Shekinah’ was filmed and directed by renouned Hollywood director Scott Hansen (Bury Your Dead, A Day To Remember, Whitechapel The Ghost Inside).

Saving Grace will be co-headlining the hardcore showcase at Parachute 2012 alongside The Chariot and Showbread and will be announcing additional festival and tour dates for Australasia this summer.
In Dread Response announce final dates for 2011

In Dread Response have announced two headline dates for 2011 with special guests Molest The Episcopate.
The band will play Friday December 16th and Saturday December 17th at Auckland’s Basement Bar and Hamilton’s Void respectively.
Both shows are all ages and only $10.00 on the door, do not miss out on a chance to see these undisputed New Zealand metal legends melt your face off in support of their new record ‘Embers In The Spiritless Void’.

‘Rising From The Rubble’ Raises over $4k for victims of Quakes

Our sales reports have come in and we are proud to say that we have raised over $4,000 already to donate to the New Zealand Red Cross to assist in rebuilding the homes and lives of those who suffered in the devastating earthquakes of Christchurch.
